Product Feeds turns the
products synced from your shop into feeds for Google Shopping, Facebook and Instagram, price
comparison sites or a file of your own. A new feed starts with the platform; each tile names the
formats the platform reads and the date of the rules
InsightHub follows. Under Basics, the name and the file name
in the feed address are already filled in, and we pick English as
the feed's language. Format, currency and whether only
products in stock go in are set here too; Next creates the feed, still switched off. Fields lists what Google expects,
filled from your catalog: required fields carry a red star, and
every field can take another source. With the wand on the price, this feed adds eight percent and rounds
every price to an ending of .99, while the shop keeps its own prices. Filters keep or leave out
products by category, brand, price or stock; without a
rule, every product goes in. Under Categories, each shop category
can get its Google product category, and Office Furniture becomes
the default for all of them. Defaults add what the
catalog does not say, such as the condition and a shipping
cost per country, here €4.90 to Germany. Check feed builds the feed and checks every
product against Google's current rules; a product with a problem would stay out. All 24 products can go in, and the
first rows show what Google will read, with the price already raised and rounded. The feed address goes into Merchant Center
as a product source with a daily fetch, and the switch turns the feed on. From now on the feed is rebuilt
after every product sync, and Rebuild now builds
the file right away. Back in the list, each
feed shows its status, the number of products, the
last build and its address. Start your free trial now
